Road Surface Temperature Mapping
Road surface temperature mapping provides useful information for selecting RPU sites for Road Weather Information Systems, evaluating the performance and representativeness of existing stations, and for anti-icing operations.
Our mobile data logging system allows road surface temperatures to be measured by an infrared sensor at a rate of 10 readings per second. Tabler & Associates provides thermal mapping services at a much more reasonable cost than is offered by other vendors.
